Dream Host Problem 1: Payment Gateway Problems.

Dreamhost Sucks. After finding a Dreamhost Scam web hosting discount coupon, I signed up. This should have been easy but the Dreamhost Scam Team Scam uses Google Checkout. Seems like a good idea, but it isn’t. Google Checkout has thousands of would be Dream Host clients who are very frustrated and want their money back. Dreamhost Scam 2: Is This Web Host Blind?

My problem with Google Checkout was that the account got stalled. My credit card showed that payment was made and also Google Checkout showed the payment, but Dream Host showed that they had not received any payment. After some digging I found out that this was a common Dream Host problem. Dreamhost Scam has no contact number and no live chat support! I waited 5 days for some sign that the payment was made, but nothing happened.

Dreamhost Scam 3: No Response.

I emailed Dreamhost Sucks each and everyday, but there was no response. On the 6th day I threatened legal action and demanded a refund or immediate web hosting account activation. Three hours later my account was activated. Finally!

No Problem!

Now, to be honest, I had no further Dreamhost Sucks problems until recently. I repeat, for 3 months I had no problems. Downtime was minimal and response time was acceptable. But, continue reading to see what happened to me a month ago.

Dreamhost Sucks 4: Cancelling Accounts For No Good Reason.

Last month I received the following email from Dreamhost Sucks:

“We are sorry to inform you that we have disabled your account. This is due to a violation of our terms of service, specifically Material Products, Section 8: Customer agrees to not engage in activities pertaining to Black Hat SEO. Pursuant to this policy, the WordPress plugin “All in One SEO Pack” is prohibited on Dream Host web hosting servers.”
